Garden Creek Farms Agriculture division consists of 7 fields totaling over 80 acres as well as livestock ranging from feeder pigs to Akaushi cattle. We pride ourselves in taking an all natural, chemical free approach to production of our agriculture products.
Garden Creek Farms Agriculture division believes in intensive grazing. Short-duration, high-intensity grazing, improves pasture while increasing stocking rate. Multiple daily moves, watching the degree of utilization and focusing on animal performance are the keys to our successful operation.
Why Akaushi Beef?
Akaushi beef naturally contains intense marbling. It is generally recognized that fat is responsible for the palatability of beef, but it is actually the monounsaturated fat that is responsible for the flavor. The marbling in Akaushi beef contains a much higher percentage of monounsaturated fat than any other beef in the United States. As a result, Akaushi beef has a rich buttery flavor as well as juiciness and tenderness throughout.
